Find their web site here: http://convergentcrossfit.com
USAC is a hybrid, street focused martial art that draws from Thai Boxing, Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial arts, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to create a straight forward self-defense training regimen.
The program was designed by Pat Tray, a 20 year Navy SEAL, 13 years of which were spent on the elite Team VI. Then the Navy sent Pat to train all over the world with many of the best martial artists on the planet, lessons he then applied to real world situations. The results are USAC, a functional, no frills self-defense program.
Pat teaches out of Trident MMA, in Woodbridge, VA. I am certified as a USAC instructor under one of Pat’s lead students, Ben Gilbert.
